Cyclone Larry arrived in March of 2006 and it necessitated a bunch of frenzied work to get the boat cyclone ready, every piece of wood received a coat of epoxy with areas where water might pool receiving 2-3 coats(the extra epoxy I was using made me cry a little) the cyclone hit in the early hours of the morning and stripped the leaves off every tree around, we tied the boat down but in the middle of the cyclone(the gusts were around 200km an hour) it was lifting the hulls up at the back about 50 mm with the bigger gusts. I agonized about it but we had to take the shed roof off and I did my best to tarp everything to keep it as dry as I could
